The Altcoin Seasonal Index is calculated by comparing the price volatility between the top 100 coins by market capitalization (excluding stablecoins and wrapped coins) and Bitcoin. If the rate of increase of 75% of the top 100 coins is higher than that of Bitcoin over the past 90 days, it is considered an altcoin season, and vice versa. The closer it is to 100, the more likely it is to be an altcoin season.
