CoinShares CSO believes that the approval of a BTC spot ETF is unlikely to lead to a 'sell on news' event.

According to Meltem Demirors, chief strategy officer at cryptocurrency investment fund Coin Shares, the approval of a BTC spot ETF is unlikely to result in a 'sell on the news' event. Demirors noted that $243 million flowed into crypto ETP products in the last week of last year, and $2.2 billion flowed into crypto ETP products for the whole of last year, indicating steady demand for BTC. BlackRock has already committed $2 billion for a BTC spot ETF. She has previously stated that getting approval for a BTC ETF would be difficult.
