If all of the criminal charges against Kwon Do-hyung, the key figure in the collapse of the cryptocurrency ‘Terra/Luna’ are found guilty, the maximum sentence will be 130 years. The U.S. Department of Justice explained the maximum sentence for Kwon's alleged crimes by disclosing the fact that Kwon appeared in court.

Kwon appeared at the arraignment hearing held at the Southern District of New York in Manhattan and pleaded not guilty to the charges against him to Magistrate Judge Robert L. Legger. The U.S. Department of Justice explained that Kwon arrived in the U.S. on the 31st of last month after the U.S. government received custody of him from Montenegro.

The case of Kwon was assigned to Judge John Cronan of the Southern District of New York, and he is scheduled to appear before him on January 8. “If all charges are found guilty, Kwon could face up to 130 years in prison,” the U.S. Department of Justice said.
