Trump's tariffs pave the way for negotiations with Canada, Mexico and China.

Donald Trump has announced that he will speak to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau again, saying, “We will begin imposing tariffs on the public. If we do not reach an agreement with China, we will raise them further,” and “We will also speak with China within the next 24 hours.” He then said, “We have decided to agree with the president of Mexico and postpone the tariff for one month.” Earlier, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said that the US tariff would be implemented with a one-month grace period. In addition, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, “We have agreed with the US on a 30-day grace period for tariff measures.
