Trump holds $1.1 million in TRUMP, an Ethereum-based meme coin

"Former US President Donald Trump holds $1.1 million worth of MAGA (TRUMP) in his Ethereum (ETH) wallet," reports cryptocurrency media outlet Decrypt. "MAGA is an Ethereum-based meme coin with the same name as the acronym 'MAGA,' which stands for 'Make America Great Again,' a signature slogan Trump has pushed," Decrypt reported today. "Trump's Ethereum wallet was not involved in the issuance of his namesake memecoin, MAGA (TRUMP)," DeCrypt added. According to Etherscan, Trump's wallet sent a significant amount of TRUMP tokens on multiple occasions in August and October last year, and he currently holds the largest amount of tokens among TRUMP holders. In addition to TRUMP, he currently holds $75.5 million worth of ETH and $73.1 million worth of WETH, for a total of $2.6 million in cryptocurrency."
