South Korean crypto exchange Bithumb to prepay 40 billion won tax on airdrops by the National Tax Service

Bithumb has announced that it will prepay the 40 billion won tax penalty imposed on Bithumb Airdrop users by South Korea's National Tax Service. “Bithumb will cover not only the KRW 20.2 billion won in taxes that have already been paid, but also the approximately 19 billion won in taxes that will be notified to individual members, totaling approximately KRW 40 billion won,” Bithumb said.
