Ripple CLO criticizes US regulators' crypto suppression policies...“should be considered a federal crime”
According to Bitcoin.com, Ripple Chief Legal Officer (CLO) Stuart Alderoty recently wrote in X that “U.S. regulators have been cracking down on the cryptocurrency industry under Operation Choke Point 2.0 (a U.S. government effort to increase regulatory and financial pressure on cryptocurrencies). As a result, the crypto industry has faced significant challenges for several years.” Tyler Winklevoss, co-founder of Gemini, a U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, also commented: “Operation Choke Point 2.0 is an organized conspiracy by some politicians to intentionally cut off the flow of funds to target political opponents and to economically persecute them. It should be treated as a federal crime and vigorously prosecuted.”
