Fox Business reporter: "SEC chairman votes to 'approve' BTC spot ETF

Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett reports via X that "In the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) up/down vote on a BTC spot ETF, Commissioner Gary Gensler voted to approve. Pro-cryptocurrency commissioners Hester Pierce and Mark Uyeda also voted in favor, while Caroline A. Crenshaw and Jamie Lizaraza voted against." Caroline A. Crenshaw was also the commissioner who issued a statement earlier in the day opposing the approval of the BTC Spot ETF. With three commissioners voting in favor and two against, the launch of a spot bitcoin ETF was approved.
