Valkyrie CIO sees '$20 billion in inflows into BTC spot ETFs this year'

Steven McClurg, co-founder and CIO of Valkyrie Investments, told CNBC that he expects "$20 billion in inflows into bitcoin spot ETFs this year.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas reported via X that "on their fifth day of trading, the nine BTC spot ETFs (excluding GBTC) saw trading volume of $1.05 billion today (local time), up 34% from the previous day. Over the same period, Grayscale's GBTC saw a 24% drop in volume to $1.059 billion." "Typically, ETFs see a steady decline in volume after the start of trading and rarely see an uptick, so it's a good sign that other BTC spot ETF products have seen an uptick in volume, with the exception of GBTC. GBTC was also flat, so there wasn't much volatility.
