Franklin Templeton: “Combining blockchain and AI agents is a long way off, but it's interesting”

According to Decrypt, Franklin Templeton, a global asset management company and issuer of a Bitcoin spot ETF, recently published a report titled “The Intersection of AI Agents and the Crypto Ecosystem,” which states that “the way AI agents interact with blockchains is very interesting.” The report goes on to say, “There is still a long way to go before AI agents become as sophisticated and useful as people expect, but the field has considerable potential.” As the combination of blockchain and AI agents gradually matures, it is worth paying attention to the field,” he added. The report also highlighted that cryptocurrencies such as AI16z and VIRTUAL are recording the highest rate of increase among the top 100 coins by market capitalization.
