Fidelity, a global asset management company, analyzed the outlook for Ethereum in 2025, focusing on its rollup-focused roadmap evaluation and its relationship with layer 2. According to CoinPost, a blockchain media outlet, on the 9th, Fidelity said that although the short-term decline in profits due to the sharp drop in layer 1 fees after the Denton upgrade is inevitable, the long-term network effect will bring positive effects. Fidelity described the relationship between layer 2 and Ethereum as symbiotic. Ethereum can maintain its core value of decentralization while realizing low-cost transaction execution and token decentralization, while Layer 2 can leverage the security and liquidity of Ethereum.
