Dapp Radar Releases 2023 Report, "Number of Unique Active Wallets Using Dapps Increased 124% Last Year"
According to the 2023 Dapps Industry Report released by DAPP RADAR, a dapps market data platform, on the 11th (local time), "The number of unique active wallets using dapps grew 124% last year compared to the previous year. The average number of active wallets per day was about 4.2 million."
Here are the highlights of the report.
- A 124% year-over-year increase in the number of unique active wallets (UAWs) in the dapp industry, with an average of 4.2 million UAWs per day.
- 166% year-over-year increase in new wallets trading and using NFTs. Increased interest in NFTs.
- Blockchain-based games averaged 1.1 million UAWs per day. Highest DApp activity with 34% share.
- New wallets created: NEAR, Klaytn (KLAY), and Avitrum (ARB). Harmony (ONE), Solana (SOL) and Hive (HIVE) saw a decline in user interest.
- 2,984 new dapp listings on the DappRadar platform in the past year. The most visited dapp was Alien Worlds.
- PancakeSwap (CAKE) surpassed 860,000 monthly UAW. The most used dapp in the DeFi category.
- Weak NFT prices. NFT trading volume fell 49% year over year to $12.6 billion. NFT sales volume increased 445% year over year.
- BLUR leads NFT marketplaces with 56% annualized market share. OpenSea leads with 280,000 average monthly active traders.
- Losses from hacks and exploits fell 96% year over year to $1.9 billion. Security incident frequency increased 17.3%.
