CME Fedwatch: “99.4% chance of a Fed rate hike in June”
According to CME Fedwatch, traders see a 99.4% chance that the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) will leave its benchmark interest rate unchanged at the June FOMC meeting. Only 0.6% of traders expect a 25 basis point hike. The US Federal Reserve (Fed) is scheduled to decide on interest rates on June 13 at 3:00pm ET. At 21:30 on December 12, the U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for May will be released. Meanwhile, support for a rate hike in September has risen to nearly 50%.
