BTC Sell Side Risk Ratio Hints at End of Uptrend

Checkmate, principal analyst at on-chain analytics firm Glassnode, told X: “Bitcoin's Sell Side Risk Ratio is one of the on-chain indicators of price tops. While social media is currently talking about BTC going above $1 million, current indicator levels point to the end of this cycle's uptrend,” he said. “The BTC short risk ratio is similar to the implied volatility and shows that investors are holding BTC and taking very little profit. This suggests that market volatility is low and (the price) has reached an equilibrium point.”
