Former CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance announces non-profit education project.

Former Binance CEO Zhao Changpeng has announced via X that he is "starting a new education project. Just hours after announcing that no token issuance is planned, he revealed some details of the project in a second tweet. The project is called Giggle Academy, which he described as "free basic education (grades 1-12) for everyone, non-profit, gamified and adaptive". He also posted a Giggle Academy concept paper on X.

Meanwhile, Ji-Young Koo, CEO of South Korean crypto research firm CryptoQuant, told X: "I think there is a lack of industry leaders who have been saying 'let's build a product' for years. We are missing industry leaders like former Binance CEO Zhao Changpeng," he said. "Cryptocurrency projects without products cannot develop the industry. The market is now more about playing than building."
