U.S. fund manager Volatility Shares announces leveraged ETH ETF to begin trading June 4
U.S. fund manager Volatility Shares has announced on its official website that a leveraged Ethereum ETF will begin trading on June 4 (local time), CoinDesk reports. The official name of the product is the Volatility Shares 2x Ether Strategy ETF (ticker ETHU), and it will be the first leveraged ethereum ETF in the United States. Previously, Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett reported that “some issuers who have filed for leveraged ethereum futures ETFs with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said they have had positive conversations with SEC staff. If the SEC approves the launch of leveraged ETFs, Volatility Shares' ETF will be the first to be reviewed on June 4.”
