Nasdaq withdraws proposal to list and trade Hashdex ETH ETF
The Nasdaq Stock Exchange has withdrawn its proposal to list and trade the Hashdex Nasdaq Ethereum ETF, The Block reported. According to a disclosure on its website, Nasdaq withdrew the proposal on May 24 (local time). The decision comes a week after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved 19b-4 filings (formal requests for review) for eight Ethereum ETFs, excluding Hashdex. In September of last year, Nasdaq filed with the SEC to list the Hashdex Nasdaq Ethereum ETF.
