ETH Spot ETF Launch Date Expected by Experts to be July 18, as Applicants Complete S-1 Resubmission

Eric Balchunas, Bloomberg ETF analyst, said: "There is no known timeline for the launch of an Ethereum spot ETF. We still don't know what the SEC's game plan is. However, if I had to predict a date, it would be July 18th (local time)." When asked why the ETH spot ETF S-1 amendments filed by issuers did not include fee-related information, he replied, "The SEC requested that S-1 amendments be filed by July 8, but the fee disclosure was not required."

Meanwhile, Fidelity has filed an amended S-1 registration statement for an ETH spot ETF with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), according to WatchGuru. The SEC had previously rejected the S-1 form of the ETH spot ETF applicants and asked them to resubmit it. Now, all ETH spot ETF applicants - Fidelity, VanEck, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, Grayscale, and BlackRock - have filed amendments to their S-1s. The deadline for resubmissions was July 8th (local time).
