"Bitcoin bounced back to $43,000 after the US Federal Reserve (Fed) hinted at a possible rate hike in late January," reports The Block. The Fed is scheduled to announce the rate at its Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting on January 31st, with traders on CME Fedwatch placing the probability of a rate hike at 97.4%. "A rate hike in January would be a relief for the equity and crypto markets," Bitfinex analysts said. BTC is up 2.07% at $43,395.6 on CoinMarketCap.
