Arthur Hayes “Closes Bitcoin Short Position with 3% Profit”

On August 8, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes posted on X that he “closed my BTC short position and made a 3% profit.” He believes that “with US Treasury Secretary Yellen weighing in on the market and releasing a statement over the weekend, we may see more US dollar liquidity come into the market next week and BTC may rise.” On September 6, Arthur Hayes wrote on social media that he had “opened a short position as he expects Bitcoin to fall below $50,000 this weekend.”
